I go walking, after sundown...

Here is little Steven taking a few steps. Sorry the video is sideways. I took it with my camera and forgot that you can't rotate the video afterwards. He actually got from the couch to just about the bookshelf that is across the living room. He walks so well but he would rather be holding my hand as we make it across. He actually walked from the parking lot of the church up to the front doors of course holding mommy's hand. He's so funny how he pats his tummy then makes a go for it.

I hope they call me on a mission!

This was the best picture. I put my scriptures on Nathaniel as we carried him in from church and they popped open as he was sitting there. I hope that this is a scene that I can view daily in my home for years to come.

Brotherly Love

Steven loves to have his little brother Nathaniel close by, and has started to really get into hugging and kissing him. He even wants to hold him. Nathaniel gets a little annoyed especially if Steven does this during feeding times.

The seeker of Goldfish!

Since Little Steven can climb up on the couch now, his favorite thing to do is get into the diaper bag and find his treats. Who could blame the boy. The remote though has had to find a new home and is no longer safe stashed away on the back of the couch.

Are you sure it's May 1st?

Only in Denver can you go from having

80 degree weather to snow and 40 degree weather the next. However, we are sure grateful for the moisture.

Hi and Bye

As you can tell, Little Steven is a great mimic. He climbed in his car and started chatting away on his cell phone. His vocabulary though is starting to grow. He can now say Hi and Bye on his cell phone, hot, Mommy, Daddy, done, drink, side (for outside), and on the way out to the car Sunday after church he said Car! This is sure an exciting stage. I guess we can't wait to hear them talk, but the day will come when we can't wait for them to be quiet.

Walking the Moon!

We have hoped for awhile that Little Steven would want to give up crawling and move into the realm of walking. So... we have been working real hard and making him walk, even though he holds our hand, whenever there is a place he can walk. Tonight he took some big steps on his own between me and the couch where Daddy was sitting. I think that we are on our way to having a child that will love to be on the go.
