Walking the Moon!

We have hoped for awhile that Little Steven would want to give up crawling and move into the realm of walking. So... we have been working real hard and making him walk, even though he holds our hand, whenever there is a place he can walk. Tonight he took some big steps on his own between me and the couch where Daddy was sitting. I think that we are on our way to having a child that will love to be on the go.

Little Einsteins

Little Steven's favorite cartoon is Little Einsteins. I never really knew about cartoons until we started trying to find one on a day that was stressful and tiring and we came upon the Little Einsteins. We love it because it teaches children about art, music, exciting places, and that they can do things to help others with the help of their family and friends. I turn it on now especially when I am feeding Nathaniel to keep Little Steven from climbing all over us.

But for the big moment. There is a part where Leo says, "Now raise your arms real high, above your head, and say Blast Off!" Well, Little Steven did just that for the first time today and what an exciting moment. Also, whenever the music comes on he starts to wave his hand as if he is leading the music (which he also does at church).

Matching Outfits

Steven and Nathaniel both got their pictures taken in matching outfits. They really show off their great personalities. I have learned though, Daddy needs to come too for definite crowd control. If it wasn't Steven trying to go after the lights and Nathaniel getting tired it just wouldn't have seemed normal.

Nathaniel's Blessing

Well, if this doesn't take you back, I don't know what does. Here is Nathaniel and little Steven the day of his blessing. It truly was a great day. I know it was back in February but I never had the chance yet to post this truly special picture showing how much these brothers love each other.

Mountain man look

Nathaniel does a great job pulling this look off. It is one great looking hat. He is such a happy, adorable baby that can smile at the frop of a hat. He will be quite the heartthrob when he grows up. He also laughs now when we tickle him. Kind of like tickle me Elmo.

Little Fry, Our Future Mountain Climber!

A new talent little Steven learned last week was to climb onto the couch. He can climb pretty well and when he reaches the top he grabs the remote (which is his trophy) and laughs and smiles. There is no holding him back now.

Photos

Today I took Little Steven and Nathaniel for photos. I wanted to get them done before Nathaniel grew out of the matching outfits that their Aunt Sharon got them. They were so cute but Little Steven found he wanted to explore the studio more than get his picture taken and Nathaniel got impatient. When I get the photos back I will post them. They are sure beautiful boys that are so dear and sweet. There is nothing like the sound of Steven and Nathaniel laughing for their father.

Easter Boys!

Here are Steven and Nathaniel on Easter all ready to go to 9 a.m. church. Boy, is it hard to get out of the house on time. As you can see, Steven is showing off his new talent, opening the front door.

Nathaniel (Baby Blue Eyes)

Nathaniel is growing up too fast. He is 3 months old this week and weighs 14.5 lbs. He is such a happy baby and loves to smile as you can tell. He loves to be in his jungle gym and is very patient when his older brother who loves to come lay down right on top of him and then gives Nathaniel kisses. He also can't decide if he should suck his thumb or not.

The park

We went to the park last Wednesday with friends. Little Steven loved being around his friends and I had to get over the fact that he is my baby and let him go down the slide by himself. He is definitely growing up. He is almost fifteen months old and is really a daredevil. He loved the slide but he loves to swing too.For a little boy he loves pizza and bananas.
